This was a fatal wreck. I really didn’t want to post the pics because of it, but i feel that everybody needs a reminder. A truck driver was distracted and crossed a center line and Killed the drive of this Honda. Just remember that your actions don’t just affect you. Wait to send that text!

We lost co-worker a few weeks ago in a head-on... Just a few months from retirement, had recently finished the house they were going to retire to. The dude that hit her was an older gentleman, just drifted across the center line apparently. Terribly sad situation for everybody involved...

It’s worse for truckers. They’re on the road more than anybody else, they’re in the sort of vehicle that can obliterate 3 or more cars in one go, and aside from social responsibility they have a professional responsibility too.

Yes, it would destroy a Civic. The responsibility of those in bigger cars is usually overlooked I think. Some people buy them to kill people in Civics - so that, in a crash, them and their family come off best. Nice self preservation, but enjoy the lifelong survivor’s guilt.
I’m being harsh. But people died. Me in my MR2, I’m dead in that situation. My face is at bumper level.

Is just a car. Doesn’t affect the parts
There was a case a few years ago where a stolen H2 hit a car and killed the driver of the other car. Someone bought the H2 from the insurance auction, rebuilt it and sold it. While the family of the guy that died fought against it.
